I may have been home sick, but....
Jan. 31st, 2006 05:30 pmI actually used my time *wisely* and while resting, and trying to get over my barfing headache, *I APPLIED FOR JOBS!!!!*
I applied for seven(7) jobs today, which is way better then the grand total of um...zero(0) that I have applied for in the last couple of weeks.
Why have I applied for nothing since early January? Because I got discouraged at the seemingly hundreds of resumes I sent out after weeding through thousands of job postings and receiving just one interview from the lot that turned out to be a job with nominal pay that my poor body couldn't do anymore since my knee got fucked up and my current job fucked up my wrist... SOOOOO...Now I'm back in the swing of things and hopefully I'll get myself something new--at least until I end up back in school in September that is. *grin* I am happy.
