A cozy evening....
Feb. 15th, 2006 01:16 pmLast night Sean and I picked Natasha up from her afterschool program early so we could take her to see Narnia before it was pulled from the theatres. She started feeling ill on the drive because she wouldn't stop reading a graphic novel version of "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" in the car on the way there. She was feeling quite car sick when we stopped for Tim Hortons, but I managed to feed her some chciken soup and a bit of pop to make her burp while Sean and I scarfed down Bagles before rushing to the theatre.
Natasha was feeling much better by the time we got into the movie and she thoroughly enjoyed it--as well as Sean's Peanut M&M's. *grin* She told me at the end that the movie was soooo good she wants to be sure that someone buys it for her so she can have it always.
We came home, I tucked the little one into bed because she was very tired, and set her alarm for early morning since she hadn't finished her homework. Sean and I curled up in my room so as not to disturb the little one sleeping in her cubby (the dinningroom is Natasha's room, the livingroom is of course attached, most nights we share the space without a problem, but when kiddo's really tired, it's easier just to go elsewhere). We talked for a while and then curled up and went to bed, Fritz took the opportunity presented by the fact that the house was terribly warm and curled up on the floor beside me in the disgarded comforter--with his head on one of my fuzzy bedroom slippers. I love my dog. *grin*
