I'm back....and I'm feeling much better now!

So Friday night, instead of going out, I went to the hospital. Satruday night, instead of dancing, I was sleeping off anesthisia from surgery and exhaustion from being up for more then 24 hours with two short naps. Sunday night, well, more sleep, and a fight not to rip out my IV lock that they refused to remove until I was released--even though my beeping friend and its bladder of cool saline had already been exhiled from my room.

And now? I'm home--minus my apendix. I'm sore, a little bloated (due to swelling and the air they put in you so they can see where they are working), a bit stiff and slow on my feet...but I'll mend. Thanks for the kind thoughts, phonecalls and visits from friends and loved ones, they helped keep me from being bored stiff!!

And now I have to figure out how to fill the two to three weeks I'm not allowed to lift a thing--and therefore do my job.

I would mention that we're hiring again, but it's mostly shift work right now.

I have heard that we're going to have some basic IT support openings in another month or so. It's nothing glamourous, mostly plugging in keyboards and replacing mice, but it's nine to five and reasonably stable. If that kind of thing is at all interesting then either watch the joblist or let me know and I can look out for you.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out--but just in case I miss anything, if you do see something, pass it along. I don't have much of an IT background, but plugging in computers and adding hardware and input devices is something I'm quite comfortable with.
